This study sought to diagnose the tourism situation in the Shuar Tsuer Entsa Center, and the progress of the Shuar people in this activity. This qualitative study, under the logical and analytical methods, analyzed the problem from the overall conclusion of organizational, social and economic behavior of local residents. The overall objective was to formulate a tourism development strategy for the inhabitants of Shuar Tsuer Entsa center that serves to promote sustainable tourism in the place. The hypothesis was: The trainning of service providers in tourism issues would bring organization of the community and sustainable development of the Shuar Tsuer Entsa center. As a result obtained after the application of visitor surveys, the qualification of the service received and suggestions on the implementation of services was received; while in the interview with the 37 ihnabitants, visitor information service, their perception of tourism, community participation, form of leadership, communication level, related to tourism and the environment and willingness in training knowledge was collected. The benefit derived from the study was to outline the social organization of Shuar Tsuer Entsa center, distribution functions, guideline standards and manage direct customer work through training in various subjects. In conclusion and recommendation for the leaders of the Shuar Center it suggested link up with government agencies and universities, which continue counseling and socialization of its tourism products under the standards of sustainable tourism.
