Abstract

MOLINA PEREZ, Isaac  and  ITO SUGIYAMA, Emily. The Study of Justice from the Perspective of Psychology: Towards a Common Effort. En-clav. pen [online]. 2016, vol.10, n.19, pp.41-64. ISSN 2594-1100.

The present text intends to draw a parallelism between the study of justice from different philosophical approaches and a historical review of the psychology of the same. By observing the development of the study of the subject from both disciplines, some possible mutually beneficial insights may be garnered for the comprehension of the phenomena of justice. This paper ends with a proposal of how the psychological aspects of the study may be integrated and indeed are being integrated in different current philosophical approaches towards justice; in this manner it presents an invitation to a joint proposal that would allow the integration of both the everyday experiences and formal concepts in the understanding of what justice is and the implications it has.

Keywords : Justice; philosophy; psychology; social psychology and integration.
