Abstract

CONSTANTE, Alberto. La memoria perdida de las cosas (crítica a la modernidad). En-clav. pen [online]. 2007, vol.1, n.1, pp.91-120. ISSN 2594-1100.

What is modernity? Modernity is a construction developed due to the type of mentality that gave birth to the concepts of evolution, development, progress and revolution. These are emancipating terms that, over time, have shown their true roots: the desire for domination which has made reason the key to that domination. Today, the project shows its limits, and this causes us to rethink the modern project to find a new way.

Keywords : Modernity; Mind; Progress; Revolution; Development.
