Abstract

We report the presence of two juvenile king vultures (Sarcoramphus papa) in the Selva La Montaña located in thesouthwestern portion of the Área de Protección de Flora y Fauna Silvestre Laguna de Términos, Campeche, Mexico. We obtained the records using camera traps. The presence of this species in the area highlights the importance of the Selva La Montaña region for biodiversity conservation, particularly for endangered species.
