Abstract

PADILLA AVILA, Elba Susana; FERRUSCA ORTEGA, Karina Esmeralda  and  RODRIGUEZ GARIBAY, Dalyir. Kommerell’s diverticulum in a patient with acute coronary syndrome. Acta méd. Grupo Ángeles [online]. 2019, vol.17, n.2, pp.160-162.  Epub May 19, 2021. ISSN 1870-7203.

Kommerell’s diverticulum is an uncommon finding consisting of an anatomical alteration in the presence of an aberrant subclavian artery; even rarer is its association with an acute coronary syndrome, since no reports are found in the literature. In our case, we present the finding of a diverticulum in an aberrant right subclavian artery in a patient with occlusion of the anterior descending coronary artery.

Keywords : Kommerell’s diverticulum; acute coronary syndrome; aberrant subclavian artery; angioplasty.
