Abstract

GUZMAN PEREZ, Moisés. The historiography of ministers of the Supreme Justice Tribunal in Ario. Tzintzun. Rev. estud. históricos [online]. 2016, n.64, pp.92-115. ISSN 2007-963X.

The purpose of this article is to examine the origin, conformation and operation of the Judicial Power of the Mexican Insurgency, based on not only constitutional texts and the written law, but also on the study of ministers and judges who appertained to that tribunal in the Ario town in March, 1815. Furthermore, their legal practices and their own understanding of the law are also taken into account, both of which are marked by an era of political transition. As an important step to begin the study, we examine the authors and written works who dealt with the tribunal in other periods. In addition, we highlight their origin and vocational training, the motives that led them to write, we analyze their contents, we notice their mistakes and confusions, but we also appreciate their contributions to the knowledge of the corporation.
