Abstract

ALVAREZ SANCHEZ, María Edna; LOPEZ ALFARO, Refugio Lorena  and  TORRES CARRAL, Guillermo A.. Participation in a complex socio-ecosystem of the Sierra Norte de Puebla, Mexico, with community systemic resolutions. Tla-melaua [online]. 2018, vol.12, n.44, pp.142-163. ISSN 2594-0716.

The objective of this paper is to explain, the context of a complex system paradigm, used as a technique in systemic resolutions to meet the psychosocial needs in Xaltepuxtla. This community is in the northern highlands of Puebla, Mexico. It is intended to be seen as a way to self-sustaining agroforestry intervention. An ornamental production system that is incompatible with the cloud forest was modified towards becoming an agroforestry technology. The method used was qualitative and based on the premise of participatory self-management research and development. Most likely, the awareness of their livelihoods lost by people involved is a device for them to take actions and defend or recreate better living surroundings.

Keywords : Systemic solutions; agroforestry technologies; restoration; mountain mesophilic forest; complex socio ecosystem.
