Abstract

CHACON MATA, Alfonso. Brief summary about the nature and scope of the international law for human rights. Anu. Mex. Der. Inter [online]. 2010, vol.10, pp.455-493. ISSN 1870-4654.

The author presents a study which includes several definitions of International Law of Human Rights (ILHR), its branches, the main principles that guide the application of ILHR and the different theories about the interaction between Domestic and International Law, offering instances about the choice of some latin american States in this regard and the level they give to Human Rights treaties within their legal order. The article includes an analysis about the International Charter of Human Rights, its origins, its mechanisms and characteristics.
