Abstract

Natural resources have an important place in the legal regulation of the Environment because their benefits might be the base for the sustainable development of a country. The rights of a country and the peoples derived from the application of international principles having an important value and, therefore, the absence of juridical distinction in the international regulation creates a juridical vacuum and confusion on the legal norms applicable to the resources creating a loss of benefits and non application of the rights derived there from. This article will focus on the legal rules related to natural genetic resources of the sea.
