Abstract
BRINGAS RABAGO, Nora L. and TOUDERT, Djamel. Satisfacción turística del visitante fronterizo en Baja California, México. Región y sociedad [online]. 2016, vol.28, n.65, pp.109-147. ISSN 2448-4849.
Due to the abstract and multidimensional character of its instrumentation, evaluating the satisfaction of international visitors is one of the most prolific and effervescent fields in tourism research. Using survey data obtained at different border ports in the state of Baja California, Mexico, this article examines the explanation of satisfaction attributes and their causal relationships, through the proposal of a theoretical model. Analysis was carried out by evaluating measurement and structural models that allowed the establishment of significance levels of causal relationships which provided support for the proposed theoretical model. Results show that food and drink consumption, and the relation between quality and price, were the dimensions that best explained the satisfaction structure in the visited destinations.
