Abstract

CASTANEDA-ZARATE, Miguel; VICCON-ESQUIVEL, José; RAMOS-CASTRO, Sergio E.  and  SOLANO-GOMEZ, Rodolfo. New records of Orchidaceae for Veracruz, Mexico. Rev. Mex. Biodiv. [online]. 2012, vol.83, n.1, pp.281-284. ISSN 2007-8706.

Seven orchid species are reported for the first time from Veracruz. All of these were collected during the last 3 years, mainly in conserved fragments of cloud forest. These species are Anathallis abbreviata, Galeoglossum tubulosum, Homalopetalum pumilum, Leochilus johnstonii, Lepanthes totontepecensis, Mormolyca moralesii, and Ponthieva mexicana.
