The objective of this work is to analyze the importance of public policies towards social cohesion and its conception in the Government of the 4th Transformation in Mexico. Using a policy agenda approach we examine social welfare policies content through the revision of the National Development Plan and other policy documents. Besides, we analyze social cohesion relevance inside social policies configuration through analyzing by states the association between some social cohesion dimensions and poverty levels.
