It's too much to say that the relationship between the history of mentalities and certain types of social psychology has become a nodal point for the development of each of these traditions. However, it is increasingly common to find cross-references, imported concepts from one to another and complete works in which it seeks to show more than their potential relationship. Certainly, there are reasons for this. However, it seems that the strong intellectual disputes that each tradition has in his own discipline has diluted the possible discrepancies between them. In this context, the aim is to show some of these differences, with the only purpose of making more likely that relationship.
