The purpose of this article is to study the History of Justice and the Law in Mexico from 1841 to 1857. In this period, the legal mechanisms that later fought two of the pillars of the old Regime Justice (the Broad Judicial discretion with which judges and normative pluralism) were developed through two requirements: The baseline of sentences and the exact application of the law.
