Abstract

The electronic notarial signature is a challenge for the institution of notaries. This paper studies the Mexican electronic notarial signature and how it compares with its Spanish counterpart. It studies the obstacles in the use of the signature and the possible advantages of society to have notaries who with their electronic signature can authorize electronic documents.
