Abstract

LASTRA BARRIOS, Rosalía Susana; AGUAYO LORENZO, Eva  and  HERRERA GONZALEZ, Domingo. Method to compare the effects of university faculty stimuli. Andamios [online]. 2021, vol.18, n.46, pp.537-563.  Epub Jan 17, 2022. ISSN 2594-1917.  https://doi.org/10.29092/uacm.v18i46.856.

Within the Spanish-speaking world there is controversy over the type of public reforms aimed at reassessing university faculty performance. An array of undifferentiated, quasi neoliberal and democratic premises are used that lead to multifunctional profiles, which are governed by tables, external peers and economic stimuli. Advocates and critics have different notions of what constitutes an achievement. Understanding how the institution works entails defragmenting the phenomenon along societal levels. To achieve this one must develop a plan that organizes the information and determines ways to apply it while also coming come up with institutional logic and new psycho-social tensions to end up with three scenarios that match what has been instituted in the faculty.

Keywords : Neoliberalism; interpretive framework; public universities; evaluation and stimuli; professors; spanish-speaking Latin America.
