Abstract

SERRATO GUZMAN, Abraham Nemesio  and  LOPEZ SANCHEZ, Ericka. From coming out to Human Rights in the demands of Civil Society Organizations of LGBT: Discursive strategies of refuge. Andamios [online]. 2018, vol.15, n.37, pp.119-144. ISSN 2594-1917.

Based on a retrospective analysis of the trajectories of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transvestite, transgender, transexual and intersex people (LGBTTI) movements linked to global political and economic changes and considering their development in the midst of and as a product of scenarios of violence and exclusion, this article has as its purpose discuss the strategic need that these movements have had to subsume to broader discourses that, sometimes even opponents and dissidents of order, have been recognized by the dominant power, such as communist speeches and others very legitimized as absolute truths such as that of Human Rights, in order to appear in the public space and enunciate the discriminations, violations, denial of rights and invisibility that live in daily life.

Keywords : Human Rights; refuge strategies; LGBT civil organizations; liberal democracy; globalization.
