Abstract

MAZZETTI LATINI, Carolina. Name death. Approaches to the Untold. Andamios [online]. 2017, vol.14, n.33, pp.45-76. ISSN 2594-1917.

The paper’s purpose is to reflect the builder character of the word in the configuration of the social reality, considering cultural artifacts involved in the discourse about death. Given that none cultural production emanates from the void, reports about death are designed from a particular place in the social space. Therefore, the emphasis on the primacy of naming death is to evoke the meaning of their presence during the life cycle. The intention is to approach the word value as a condition to reveal the essential human need to search the meaning in life’s resignification path.

Keywords : Death; word; communication; sense; culture.
