Abstract

The article highlights that the precarious economic conditions facing the country are the result of more than 30 years of policies that favored the market and limited state intervention. Thus, inequality and poor labour market conditions show a depleted model and demand other policies that prioritize social reform of the State, which meets the social issue; Equity, redistribution of income, wealth and opportunities; And should be framed in a democratic environment to find new balances both economically and politically.
