Abstract

RUIZ-RAMIREZ, Rosalva; ZAPATA-MARTELO, Emma; RUIZ-MARTINEZ, Fortunato  and  GARCIA-CUE, José Luis. Manifestations of teacher bullying at the Autonomous University Chapingo, Mexico. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2020, vol.10, n.21, 00026.  Epub Mar 14, 2022. ISSN 2007-8846.  https://doi.org/10.21696/rcsl102120201119.

The article analyzes the manifestations of teacher bullying in the agricultural high school of the Chapingo Autonomous University. The methodology was quantitative. We worked with 112 students, a questionnaire was applied, divided into: 1) aggressions by teachers on students, 2) aggressions received by teachers from students, and 3) aggressions that made the teachers and that students observe. Were made univariate descriptive statistical analyzes and Sperman correlation (α=0.05%). The results show that there is teacher bullying, the main aggression was the psychological one that teachers do and receive when they ignore it. The investigation had no limitations. The originality lies in t that teacher bullying is analyzed in two directions (from students to teachers and vice versa) and in Mexico there are few investigations. In conclusion, teacher bullying is associated with intersecting factors: gender stereotypes, sexual orientation, subjectivity, social classification for its origin, ethnicity, or economic level.

Keywords : higher education; bullying; teacher attitudes; student attitudes; aggression psychological.
