ROBLES, Ruth; FOLADORI, Guillermo and ZAYAGO LAU, Édgar. Industry 4.0 in Mexican mining. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2020, vol.10, n.21, 00003. Epub Mar 14, 2022. ISSN 2007-8846. https://doi.org/10.21696/rcsl102120201167.
The article reviews the latest technological advances in Mexican mining and its socio-economic and environmental implications. These advances show a constant investment in equipment, a strong process of concentration and centralization of capital, a tendency to reduce employment and a relegation in the improvement of working and environmental conditions.
