We actually know that Hidalgo is a myth that is a part of the national imagination, but all these praises did not correspond to nationalistic interests. We focused on Miguel Hidalgo, who was attacked many times, as well as praise all the way through his independence days. These attacks provoked that his image was mythical. We will analize why during independence such mythical image came out, who creat it and why.
