Abstract

PLATA VAZQUEZ, José Luis. Estructura agraria y mercados de tierra en la región de Huejutla, Hidalgo. Revista Col. San Luis [online]. 2014, vol.4, n.8, pp.38-70. ISSN 2007-8846.

Throughout agricultural history of the Huasteca, acts by which it has transferred the use and ownership of land plays an important role, either to stimulate the circulation of this resource regardless of those involved in the operations income, sales, aparceria, mediria and loan, or to condition the intervention of some sectors of society on land markets. In the region of Huejutla land markets have contributed in shaping the territorial space shaping agrarian structure in which legal mechanisms are mixed with customary elements that qualify the actions that both Indians and mestizos have had to make to keep expand and protect their property. This article cites some of the actions undertaken during the process of land distribution by indigenous peoples from Teacal and Macuxtepetla to recover their territories, while on the other side, but in the same vein of ideas, are exposed some treatments on land mestizos made to keep under his rule the territory was affected by the reforma agraria. All this under the notion that, through such efforts, has formed an agrarian structure that obeys the guidelines of dynamic land markets but not always equitable.
