Abstract

VIERA, Katia. Cuban Narrative Today. Protocols of Literary Criticism around Zero Generation. Latinoamérica [online]. 2022, n.75, pp.183-206.  Epub Nov 22, 2022. ISSN 2448-6914.  https://doi.org/10.22201/cialc.24486914e.2022.75.57511.

The present text intends to offer a first approximation to some thematic lines and some theoretical approaches that appear with medium recurrence in the critical texts produced around the Cuban narratives of the Year Zero Generation in Cuba. The analysis is guided by some methodological perspectives based on the study of the protocols of literary criticism and its three simultaneous layers (theory; object and construction; and expository and textual dimension) that allowed us to recognize the systematic dialogue framed (and established) by the literary criticism, between literature and political, economic and cultural reality in Cuba from the early 2000s to the present.

Keywords : Cuban narrative; Theory: Criticism; Zero generation.
