Abstract

SARTORELLO, Stefano Claudio. Politics, Epistemology and Pedagogy: The Intercultural Inductive Method in a Tseltal School of Chiapas, Mexico. LiminaR [online]. 2016, vol.14, n.1, pp.121-143. ISSN 2007-8900.

After analyzing primary aspects of intercultural education in Latin America from a critical position, this article presents the political, epistemic and pedagogical principles that characterize the intercultural inductive method (IIM). In the second part, the article analyzes how this method is implemented in the teaching and learning processes of a tseltal school in Chiapas and examines its success and limitations.
