Abstract

PEREZ VERDI, Raúl. Ambientalismo y desarrollo sustentable: tramas del sistema capitalista. LiminaR [online]. 2011, vol.9, n.2, pp.181-199. ISSN 2007-8900.

This work has a twofold purpose: to analyze the invention of Sustainable Development and its trajectory as the dominant discourse in Latin America and the Caribbean, on the one hand, and secondly, to fix the forms of discourse that shapes the capitalist system in the development discourse and environmental positions, and describe how they operate in the production of subjects and practices. Therefore, the text is an analytical discursive mechanisms and devices that provide assurance and perfectibility to what I call the ideological form of capitalism in the discourse of sustainability and environmental.

Keywords : Discourse analysis; sustainable development; environmentalism; power; the capitalist system.
