Abstract

RASCON GOMEZ, María Teresa  and  CABELLO FERNANDEZ-DELGADO, Florencio. Audiovisual narratives on resilience and education through an edu-communicative approach. Innov. educ. (Méx. DF) [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.80, pp.77-92. ISSN 1665-2673.

This article presents the educational innovation project, Multimedia perspectives on resilience and education. This project proposes a socio-educational intervention in favor of the resilience of children and youth in vulnerable situations in Malaga (Spain), through an edu-communicative approach that analyzes and critically reformulates its methods of audiovisual representation. This proposal emerged from the context of the economic crisis that began in 2007, the consequences of which are particularly harmful for children in Spain, with unprecedented rates of risks of poverty and social exclusion in this sector of the population. Faced with this problem, this initiative brought together instructors and students of education, communications and psychology, along with social entities and a social educator in order to cooperatively create a series of multimedia videos (spots, corporative and web-based), as well as a documentary short film, in order to disseminate and reflect on the processes of social exclusion and the resilience of children in Malaga.

Keywords : Childhood; cooperative learning; edu-communication; multimedia; resilience; social exclusion.
