Abstract
CHAVEZ ROJAS, Jorge; FAURE NINOLES, Jaime Ignacio and CERECEDA, Trinidad. Teaching evaluation to higher education teachers from a sociocultural perspective: A case study. Innov. educ. (Méx. DF) [online]. 2018, vol.18, n.76, pp.91-104. ISSN 1665-2673.
Evaluation is a complex and particularly relevant exercise for the practice of teaching in higher education. Currently, there are few studies that analyze how these activities are organized. This paper analyzes the format of an educational practice aimed at the teaching and learning of evaluation. To this end, we analyzed an audiovisual recording of a course on evaluation given to university instructors. The results indicate the presence of two relevant moments in this process. The first is associated with the preparation of the evaluation, characterized by communication centered on the contents, process and value of each task; and the second is characterized by communication centered on correction and feedback. Both moments shape communication situations whose main objective is to redirect the learning process, which seems to use a central aspect of evaluation processes.
