Abstract

CARDONA, Luz Ángela; ORTIZ, Horacio  and  VAZQUEZ, Luis Daniel. Violation of Human Rights in Mexico: An Ill-considered Cost of Corruption. Polít. gob [online]. 2018, vol.25, n.1, pp.153-184. ISSN 1665-2037.

What is the relationship between corruption and human rights? Through a multilevel model and LOESS, we analyses how the objective corruption (observations of the Federal Audit Office) and subjective (perception of corruption) impact on human rights violations (observed through complaints of the CNDH), civil rights (seen through homicide) and economic and social rights (analyzed through access to health calculated by Coneval).

Keywords : corruption; human rights; Superior Audit of the Federation; civil rights; economic and social rights.
