Abstract

BONEVA, Ralitza. Faith as a form of life. Tóp. Sem [online]. 2016, n.36, pp.93-119. ISSN 2594-0619.

This article aims to study the faith as a form of life viewed from the dynamics that it incurs in the body-actant. We say that the form of life of faith extends over “critical zones” (Floch, 1990), some constraints coming from outside, while others from the inside, of the body-flesh and the body-hollow (Fontanille, 2011). As an semiotic configuration, it has a plane of expression, it is a syntagmatic of a life course in the form of a narrative program of witness; his plan of content includes the terms of the will and of belief as well a narrative and passionate transformations resulting from them. Thus, our article examines Ulrich Seidl's film, Paradise: Faith (2012), the analysis circumscribes the basic structure of the form of life of faith on the axis /own will/ versus /will of God/.

Keywords : form of life; faith; body-actant; own will.
