Abstract

NOLASCO-VAZQUEZ, Pedro  and  EDEL-NAVARRO, Rubén. Digital nodes for community development: A model for non-formal education. Sinéctica [online]. 2020, n.54, e1044.  Epub Aug 07, 2020. ISSN 2007-7033.  https://doi.org/10.31391/s2007-7033(2020)0054-013.

This work approaches a conceptual model of digital node for non-formal education whose purpose is to promote social intervention for the development of communities settled in highly vulnerable territories. It is a deductive research based on a theoretical framework made up of four aspects: Community development, non-formal education, digital appropriation and interconnection of open computer systems. The result consisted of a preliminary conceptual approach to the digital node model, as well as the conceptual foray into the non-formal education digital node of the Casa Blanca Community Management Center at the Xalapa City Council, in Veracruz, Mexico.

Keywords : community development; ICT; non-formal education; technological models; digital nodes.
