Abstract
GARCIA RUIZ, Mayné Elizabeth; YUREN CAMARENA, María Teresa and ALBERO, Brigitte. Architectures and spatial configurations in university formation: habitability and heterotopias. Sinéctica [online]. 2016, n.47. ISSN 2007-7033.
In this article we highlight the relationship between the university architectures and the educational process that are born with them. We present some of the results derived from research conducted in cooperation between a Mexican university and two French universities, in which it seeks to show that an architectural work is a spatial configuration that may or may not be habitable, and is reconfigured by the practices of its inhabitants. The data analysis allows to support that educational processes are favored to the extent that spatial configurations are habitable; when this is not so, the actors tend to build heterotopias and others lived spaces that contribute to their formation and shape their identity as academics and professionals.
Keywords : architectures; spatial configuration; formation; habitability; heterotopia.
