In this article we show the productivity achieved by Consolidated Mexican researchers, level III of the National System of Researchers (SNI) in the disciplines defined by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), using the number of Mexican publications from 1996 to 2003. So, we use the criterion Bauwens to perform a ranking by institution and individual author in the discipline of ISI with the highest concentration of Mexican publications, namely, Multidisciplinary Physics. This bibliometric analysis was used to detect the bound Mexican researchers showed the highest international support, as it really is to publish quality in ISI journals. The main finding is that researchers III level, have a low level of ISI publication (annual average of 0.4 articles per researcher), representing the 18% of Mexican publications in the ISI. The UNAM and Cinvestav institutions were more appointments in the Physics Multidisciplinary field.
