Abstract

This article provides elements to understand the configuration of a public sphere in relation to demand for access to justice in the state of Veracruz, México. The study deals with a selection of cases from the construction of a database on notes in the media referring to the subject, as well as the observation of protest and documentary research, analyzing to what extent the unequal possession of capital and protest repertoires translates into an effective transfer of issues to judicial institutions and efficiency in the results of procurement and administration of justice. As a contribution to the discipline, it allows us to understand the role played by law and the demand of justice in the study of social movements and the formation of the public sphere.
