Abstract

NEME CASTILLO, Omar; VALDERRAMA SANTIBANEZ, Ana Lilia  and  VAZQUEZ LEYVA, Álvaro Martín. Civil Society Organizations and Millennium Development Goals: The Case of PC. Espiral (Guadalaj.) [online]. 2014, vol.21, n.60, pp.131-177. ISSN 1665-0565.

This paper describes the contribution to the Millennium Development Goals in the context of the social development of civil society organizations supported by the social co-investment program in the period 2009-2012 through recurring projects. It is found that such projects foster focusing efforts, encouraging a greater specialization and attention to social problems, so that their contribution to the MDGs is potentially high.

Keywords : MDG; CSO; SCP; Third Sector; social development.
