Abstract

This paper builds an interpretation of violence in the State of Mexico. Part of recognizing that the continuing conflict/ violence/crime is likely to be canceled to the extent that society generates a public moral with conflictuality minimums, and police to engage with society. From the construction of the two components may create conditions for building a democratic and peace society in which the state maintains a monopoly on force. The inputs of this work was the focus groups of police and representatives of civil society.
