President Felipe Calderon presents a package of initiatives, where you can find the political reform which seeks to power up the citizen and to fortify democracy. And it also motivates citizens to participate and perceive that the organs that represent them must be aware of their demands and needs. The initiative points to a transformation of the structural rank of the authoritarian political system in the exercise of the power field, not limited only to the electoral one, never the less, it also pretends to get out of the political paralysis and change the polluted dynamic of the legislative representation and the frequent conflict between the Executive and the Congress. This is why he considered it was urgent to establish a series of changes, so that our political system comes from an effective suffrage to pass to an effective democracy.
