Abstract

VIVERO MARIN, Cándida Elizabeth. Hexis corporal y escritura. La ventana [online]. 2011, vol.4, n.33, pp.277-301. ISSN 1405-9436.

The body hexis can be used as a methodological tool by feminist literary theory to great advantage because it would explain both the scriptural and the structuring process of the literary text written by men and women. The body hexis can contribute to understanding the complex relationship that exists between writing and social norms, because it allows us to shed some light on the way in which sexed bodies act, move and interact conforming to these social norms that determine their behavior. Also, by using this category of analysis we could explain, ultimately, the political resistance in feminine writing, since it also has to do with the body politics that assign a higher significance or less recognition according to the social position held by the bodies and that is transported to the writing itself.

Keywords : body hexis; writing; literary theory; literary analysis; political.
