Abstract
MORAL DE LA RUBIA, José. Conducta homosexual en estudiantes universitarios y aspectos diferenciales de género. La ventana [online]. 2009, vol.3, n.29, pp.206-235. ISSN 1405-9436.
This study aims to estimate the prevalence of homosexual fantasies and behaviors in undergraduate psychology students, and to observe its connection with vaginal and anal coitus and the use of condoms, as well as to predict homosexual behaviors. A 395 subjects sample was used. The measure instrument was a survey on sexual behavior. Regardless of gender difference, 21% of the sample admitted having had homosexual fantasies; 4% of the sample has had at least one homosexual encounter, with a difference between genders (10% of the men and 2% of the women). Having suffered sexual abuse was related to homosexual behavior, and having homosexual fantasies was the most important predictor. 14% of the men and 50% of the women who had homosexual behaviors have maintained heterosexual intercourse with vaginal coitus.
