Abstract

PEREZ PULIDO, Leticia Abigail  and  ROMO AGUILAR, María de Lourdes. Analytical model of socio-territorial justice: implications of urban expansion in social development. Econ. soc. territ [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.61, pp.479-506.  Epub May 26, 2020. ISSN 2448-6183.  https://doi.org/10.22136/est20191365.

The rapid growth of cities has caused several problems, among which are low levels of social development frequently located in peri-urban areas. Urban sociology offers theoretical answers to the problems of social and spatial justice; however, there are few methodological proposals for their analysis. This article proposes a spatial analysis model of accessibility to urban services and facilities for Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua based on the concepts of social and spatial justice in order to support decision-making in urban matters that will help in the achievement of the equitable social development of its population.

Keywords : spatial analysis; urban accessibility; socio-territorial.
