It is, then, transcendental to know its relevance and potential impact on the economic structure. In this paper the most recent input-output matrix of Mexico and structural analysis was used for accomplishing our goal. The main results show that electricity is a key industry and its main supplier is the manufacture of petroleum products, also, that electricity is distributed to almost all industries.
