BARROSO-OSUNA, Julio; CABERO-ALMENARA, Julio and GUTIERREZ-CASTILLO, Juan-Jesús. The production of objects of learning in augmented reality by university students. Degree of acceptance of such technology and motivation for usage. RMIE [online]. 2018, vol.23, n.79, pp.1261-1283. ISSN 1405-6666.
This study analyzes the degree of technological acceptance and motivation that university students experience through objects of augmented reality, specifically if students generate these objects or if they use previously produced objects. The research focused on students who were taking courses in educational technology and ICT applied to education, in the undergraduate program of Early Childhood Education in the School of Educational Science at the universities of Seville and Huelva (Spain). To analyze motivation, the Instructional Material Motivational Survey was used, and to diagnose the acceptance of technology, the Model of Technological Acceptance. The results showed that the use of augmented reality in university teaching has led to a high degree of acceptance and motivation.
