Abstract

GARCIA-TRESPALACIOS, José  and  ALVAREZ-ALVAREZ, Carmen. Status of Web Pages in Secondary Schools: Analysis of Private Schools in Cantabria. RMIE [online]. 2018, vol.23, n.78, pp.883-903. ISSN 1405-6666.

School websites continue to grow in social relevance. Therefore, the general aim of this study is to discover the status of the institutional websites of forty-two private secondary schools in the autonomous community of Cantabria (Spain). The results verify that these schools opt to locate their website in private domains and focus on informing families. The conclusion is that schools need to exert greater efforts in improving their websites’ visualization on mobile devices or sending more content to students to enhance their educational process.
