Abstract

This article analyzes the process of community association and the methodological proposal of the dialogue of knowledge in classroom and community practice, in intercultural higher education. The experience gained from three cases is narrated: Universidad Intercultural de Chiapas, Universidad Intercultural Indígena del Estado de Michoacán, and the undergraduate degree in intercultural development and administration at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. The objective is to research diverse contexts in which proposals of intercultural education are formulated in these institutions, including the main achievements, limitations, and problems from an everyday viewpoint.
