Abstract

ESPINO DATSIRA, Sandra  and  MIRAS MESTRES, Mariana. The Note-taking Process and the Subsequent Use of Notes for Learning: Current State of the Question. RMIE [online]. 2013, vol.18, n.59, pp.1257-1280. ISSN 1405-6666.

This article reviews various elements to consider in relation to the note-taking process and the subsequent use of notes as a learning procedure and instrument; taken into account are the large number of studies focused on this topic during recent decades, as well as current approaches. The review offers us a general panorama of the current state of the question and presents the need to continue advancing in this area of knowledge. An important aspect is the transformation of the contexts of teaching and learning as a result of the increasing presence of information and communication technology in the classroom.
