The purpose of this study is to present the results we consider most significant from a research study carried out at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, on the processes of incorporating the environmental dimension into the institutional curriculum. We first describe the theoretical guidelines, the methodology, and the relevant quantitative data from the research. Then we analyze the significant results, and close by identifying some of the topics that could be included on an agenda of educational research in this area.
