RMIE [online]. 2010, vol.15, n.45, pp.391-421. ISSN 1405-6666.
This article describes the characteristics of a computerized learning system. By employing data mining techniques, an analysis is made of college students' learning styles in computer science. Also studied is the use of learning content management systems (LCMS), like Moodle, in combined settings of classroom and distance education (in this case, a model course in computer programming). The study's methodology can also be used to establish the characteristics of teaching various disciplines, based on students' learning styles.
