BARBA, Bonifacio. Experiencia y construcción personal de la moralidad. Estudio de seis casos en Aguascalientes. RMIE [online]. 2007, vol.12, n.35, pp.1209-1239. ISSN 1405-6666.

This project studies socialization experiences that promote moral development in a group of six students at different levels and with varying growth in post-conventional morality. An in-depth interview was carried out to discover the process of forming ethical criteria, with an emphasis on meaningful persons and experiences, and personal values. The study shows various relevant aspects, including the participants’ recognition of family influence in their moral formation, with differences in individual roles. No linear relation exists between age or schooling and the development of moral judgment; the family has a greater impact on moralization than school and religion; and the construction of a personal system of values is influenced by processes of social interaction.
