Abstract

In this article we analyze the development of participants in state programs of ongoing training in seven different states in Mexico, guided by the national program of ongoing training. We studied data and held interviews with various teaching collectives, technical support teams, supervisors and members of teacher centers. Our techniques were group dynamics and the analysis of relations. We showed the objective and subjective effects of the program’s implementation on teachers, on their collectives, and on institutional supervisors. We conclude by questioning the characteristics of the program’s structure, effects on agents, teacher education, and the structure of basic education.
