Abstract

In this paper, two variants of the least mean square algorithm are presented, which their objective is to reduce computational complexity and increase the processing speed, due to they are based on error codifying in order to reduce the number of floating point operations. The results are presented both in simulation and implementation on a DSP, they show the factibility to be used in digital adaptive filters.
